Your shot bounces and comes back over the net
If your shot bounces in their court and spins or bounces back to your side, they may still play it, as long as they touch nothing on your side. If they cannot, the point is yours. Do not touch it yourself.
They can still play it
Once your shot has bounced correctly in their court, it is theirs to return before it bounces a second time, even if it has come back over the net. They may reach over and hit it on your side, but if they, their clothes or their racket touch the net, the posts or your court, they lose the point.
If they cannot reach it
A ball that bounced in their court and then lands on your floor has bounced a second time without being returned, so they lose the point. This is the reward for heavy backspin or a smash that comes back, the traerla.
Leave it alone
Pairs hit the ball in turn, and you have already had your shot. If the ball comes back and touches you, your partner or anything you wear, you lose the point, so step out of its way.
