Corner recovery
Playing out of the tight corner where the back and side glass meet, where the ball can come off two walls.
When to play it
When the ball goes into your back corner. When an opponent serves or volleys into the corner.
How to play it
Stand back from the corner and wait for the ball to come off both walls. Turn side on and move with the ball as it comes out. Play a safe lob or a deep ball through the middle.
Common mistakes
Standing in the corner, where the ball jams you. Trying to hit it before it has come off both walls.

Questions
Is the corner recovery legal in padel?
Legal under Rule 12.3: once the ball has bounced on your side it stays in play off your glass and mesh until its second bounce (Rule 13c). Your shot must then go over the net without touching your own mesh or floor (Rule 13l).
