Narrow-court singles
Some clubs build courts for singles that keep the 20 m length but are narrower than a doubles court, with glass and mesh in the usual way. The FIP rules do not define a singles court, so sizes vary.
Hvad der ændrer sig i forhold til en standardkamp
The court is narrower than the FIP 10 m width, and its size is set by the builder, not by the FIP. One player a side, so there is no partner or receiving order within a pair.
Reglerne
Play the normal FIP rules wherever they fit: the underarm serve, two serves, faults and lets. Serve diagonally into the box opposite, using the lines marked on that court. The ball must bounce on the opponent's floor before it touches their walls or mesh. Return the ball before its second bounce; your own walls can be used. Each player serves a whole game, then the serve changes. Follow the club's rules for doors, openings and any parts of the court that are out of play.
Sådan afvikler du det
Clubs that run singles events should publish the court size and any local rules. Use normal scoring, or short sets if players will play several matches.

How wide is a padel singles court?
There is no FIP standard. Singles courts keep the 20 m length and are narrower than 10 m, by an amount that varies between builders.
