Leagues and challenge ladders
Leagues play fixtures over weeks with a table and often promotion and relegation. In a challenge ladder you challenge pairs a few places above you and take their place if you win.
Hvad der ændrer sig i forhold til en standardkamp
Matches are spread over weeks, and players usually arrange their own times. Standing in a table or ladder, not one event, decides the winner. The match format inside each fixture can be any agreed format.
Reglerne
League: each pair plays the fixtures in its division within the season. League: results earn table points, for example 3 for a win as in BUCS padel, and sometimes points for sets or games. League: ties in the table go to the announced order, such as head-to-head, then sets difference. League: top places may be promoted and bottom places relegated at the end of the season. Ladder: you may challenge a pair up to the allowed number of places above you, for example three. Ladder: if the challenger wins, it takes the higher place. If it loses, the order usually stays the same. Ladder: a challenged pair that does not play within the deadline may lose the place by default, if the rules say so.

Set divisions or the starting order. Publish fixtures or the challenge rules, with deadlines. Collect results and update the table or ladder promptly. Chase overdue matches and apply the walkover rules evenly. At season end, apply promotion and relegation or award the ladder title.
