Advantage final set
If agreed beforehand, the final set has no tie-break and carries on until one pair leads by two games.
How it works
Play the final set as normal, but at six-all there is no tie-break: play on until one pair is two games ahead, 8 to 6, 9 to 7 or longer.
Why it is rare
Matches can run very long, so most events use a tie-break or a super tie-break instead.
