Fixed-pair Up and Down
Up and Down for fixed pairs: you keep your partner all event, and after each round your pair moves up a court if it wins and down a court if it loses.
Co się zmienia względem standardowego meczu
Short rounds replace a best of three sets match. Your pair's results move you between courts. Partners never change, unlike the individual Up and Down.
Zasady
Partners stay together for the whole event. Each court hosts two pairs per round. The winning pair moves up one court and the losing pair moves down one. Winners on the top court stay there, and losers on the bottom court stay there. All pairs move at the same time. A level score is settled as announced, for example with a golden point. The champion is decided as announced: by final court and points, or by a final between the pairs on the top court.
Jak to zorganizować
Place the pairs on the courts, strongest at the top if you seed by level. Announce the round format, the level-score rule and how the winner is found. Play each round and record which pair won on each court. Move all pairs at once. With more pairs than court places, rest pairs in turn and say how resting pairs re-enter. Finish with the announced final or ranking.
