Serve and move to the net
In padel the serve is usually played as the first step towards the net. After serving, most coaches teach the server to move forward to join the partner at the net.
Krok 1
The server stands behind the service line, with the partner at the net on the other half.
Krok 2
The serve goes cross-court into the service box.
Krok 3
As the ball travels, the server moves forward. A split step as the receiver hits makes the first volley easier.
Krok 4
The server volleys the return and both players are at the net.
