Short serve
A serve that bounces near the net, drawing the receiver forward. It is rarely used and easy to attack if it sits up.

Now and then as a surprise against a receiver who stands deep. Against a receiver who is slow to move forward.
Jak to zagrać
Use the same preparation as a normal serve and take pace off at contact. Add slice so the ball stays low after the bounce. Be ready for a fast return straight back at you.

Floating the ball high, which gives the receiver an easy attack. Using it so often that it stops being a surprise.

Czy short serve jest dozwolone w padlu?
Legal as long as it clears the net and bounces in the box (Rule 6.5). A short serve that clips the net and still lands in the box is a net serve and is played again (Rule 9.1).
