High volley
A volley taken around head height, played down and deep or angled, without the full swing of a smash.
Kiedy to grać
On balls too high for a normal volley and too low for an overhead. To finish a point when the ball sits up at the net.
Jak to zagrać
Racket head up early, behind the ball. Short punch downwards, contact in front. Aim at the feet or the gap.

Letting the ball drop to shoulder height and losing the chance. Swinging like a smash and losing control.

Czy volea alta jest dozwolone w padlu?
Legal under Rule 14.1a once the ball has crossed the net. You lose the point if you play it on your opponents' side before it crosses (Rule 13.1f) or touch the net or posts with your body or racket (Rule 13.1a).
