The table of penalties
Conduct offences during a match follow a fixed scale. Players get a warning, then a warning with the loss of a point, then a warning with disqualification. Coaches get a warning, then expulsion from the match.
Punkt 1: The umpire applies the table
Breaches of the conduct norms during a match are punished by the umpire using the table of penalties.
Punkt 2: Recorded in the report
Separately, the competition committee records the incident in the tournament report.
Punkt 3: Further penalties possible
The committee can also ask the disciplinary committee to consider other penalties for the same offence under the disciplinary code. A match penalty does not have to be the end of the matter.
Punkt 4: Players, first offence
A player's first offence earns a warning.
Punkt 5: Players, second offence
A second offence earns a warning with the loss of a point.
Punkt 6: Players, third offence
A third offence earns a warning with disqualification.
Punkt 7: Coaches, first offence
A coach's first offence earns a warning.
Punkt 8: Coaches, second offence
A coach's second offence means expulsion from the match.
Punkt 9: Offences can add up
Offences by both players of a pair, and by their accredited coach, are counted together when they come from instructions given. A pair cannot reset the count by having the other player, or the coach, commit the next offence.

What is the penalty scale in padel?
Under the FIP rules: a warning, then a warning with the loss of a point, then a warning with disqualification.
Do both players' offences count towards the same scale?
The FIP text says offences by both players of a pair, and by their accredited coach, are cumulative when they come from instructions given.
Is time wasting on the same scale?
No. Time violations have their own table: a warning, then the loss of a first serve or a point, then further points.
