Towards the feet
A low ball that dips at the feet of an opponent at the net, so they have to lift it and give you a higher ball to attack.
Wanneer je hem speelt
When the opponents are at the net and you are at the back. On the return of serve against a server who follows the serve in. Whenever you cannot hit through the net pair.
Zo speel je hem
With any stroke, aim to make the ball drop just in front of the net player's feet. Take pace off and use a little slice or topspin so it dips. Move forward behind it: the reply is likely to come up.
Veelgemaakte fouten
Hitting it too firmly, so it reaches them at waist height. Staying back after a good one, so you cannot use the weak reply.
