Mistakes in a tie-break

If the wrong player serves, the receivers swap or the ends are not changed after six points, put it right as soon as you notice. Points already played stand.

Wrong server or wrong side

The tie-break keeps to the serving order of the set. If the wrong player serves, the right player takes over as soon as it is spotted, points already won count, and a single fault by the wrong server is ignored. If a serve comes from the wrong half by mistake, move across: points stand, but a first-serve fault still counts.

Receivers in the wrong order

If the receiving pair swap their order by mistake during a tie-break, they carry on that way until the tie-break ends.

Ends every six points

Change ends after every six points, with 20 seconds for the change. If you forget, change as soon as someone notices and carry on in the right order. Points already played count, and if it is spotted after a first-serve fault, the server has one serve left.
