Where the server's partner stands
The server's partner usually stands at the net on the other half of the court, about two to three metres from it, covering the straight line and ready to volley a weak return.

A floating return comes within reach and the partner cuts it off with a volley.
Étape 3
If the receiver lobs instead, the partner steps back and plays the overhead while the server closes in.
