Short lob
The mistake to avoid: a lob that lands short of the opponents and gives them an easy smash.
Cuándo jugarlo
Never on purpose. Recognising it helps you defend the smash that comes next.
Cómo jugarlo
If your lob is short, move back with your partner straight away. Stand away from the back glass and get ready to defend the rebound or the por tres. Next time, aim the lob higher and deeper.
Errores habituales
Hitting the lob too low and too short. Staying at the net after a short lob, where the smash will hit you.

¿Es legal la short lob en el pádel?
Legal under Rule 14b like any lob that bounces in their court. It is a description of a poor result, not a fault.
