Serve and volley
The usual pattern in padel: serve, then move straight to the net to volley the return and take the attacking position with your partner.
Cuándo jugarlo
On almost every serve in doubles. Especially after a deep serve that pushes the receiver back.
Cómo jugarlo
Serve and step forward at once, following the line of the ball. Split step as the receiver hits so you can move either way. Volley the return deep, then close in to the net.
Errores habituales
Running in so fast that you cannot react to the return. Stopping halfway, where every ball lands at your feet.

¿Es legal la serve and volley en el pádel?
Legal: once the serve has bounced in the box the ball is in play (Rule 12.2), and the receiver's return can be volleyed. Rule 6.1 only asks you to stay put until you have struck the serve.
