Towards the back wall
A ball that bounces in the opponents' court and carries on to their back glass, so they have to wait for it to come off the wall.
When to play it
When you want to push the opponents deep and slow the game down. From a smash that cannot win the point outright. To keep the ball away from an opponent who volleys well.
How to play it
Aim for a bounce in the back half of their court. Control the pace: low off the glass is good, high off the glass is a gift. Move forward while they play off the wall.
Common mistakes
Hitting too hard, so the ball comes far off the glass and sits up. Hitting the back glass before the bounce, which loses the point.
