Off the side glass
Playing a ball that has bounced and come off the side glass, which sends it across the court towards you rather than straight back.
When to play it
On angled shots that hit your side glass after the bounce. On víboras that skid off the side wall.
How to play it
Stand off the side wall so the ball comes to you. Watch the angle: off the side glass it moves across the court. Play it cross-court or as a lob.
Common mistakes
Standing too close to the side glass and getting cramped. Hitting before the ball has come out of the wall.

Questions
Is the salida de pared lateral legal in padel?
Legal under Rule 12.3: once the ball has bounced on your side it stays in play off your glass and mesh until its second bounce (Rule 13c). Your shot must then go over the net without touching your own mesh or floor (Rule 13l).
