Down the line
A ball hit straight along the side wall instead of across the court. It travels a shorter distance and can catch a net player leaning to the middle.
When to play it
When the net player in front of you moves towards the middle. As a passing shot after a weak volley.
How to play it
Get to the ball early and stay side on. Aim low over the net near the post, inside the court. Recover quickly: a missed paralelo leaves your side open.
Common mistakes
Forgetting that the net is higher near the posts, so the ball needs a little more height. Hitting the side glass on their side before the bounce, which loses the point.

Is the paralelo legal in padel?
Legal like any rally ball under Rule 14.1b. If it hits their side glass or fence before it bounces, you lose the point (Rule 13.1g); after the bounce it may run into the walls (Rule 14.1c).
