High, looping serve
A legal serve with a higher arc over the net. It lands deep, bounces higher and is useful now and then as a change of pace.
When to play it
To change the rhythm after a run of flat serves. Against receivers who struggle with a higher ball off the back glass.
How to play it
Hit up through the ball from below the waist, as the serve rules require. Aim the arc to land deep in the box. Move in behind it, since it gives the receiver time.
Common mistakes
Landing it short, where the receiver can step in and attack the return. Using it as your only serve.

Questions
Is the high, looping serve legal in padel?
Legal under Rule 6 as long as contact is at or below the waist. The receiver must let it bounce before playing it (Rule 8.1), so the risk is a high bounce they can attack, not a volley.
