Forehand bajada
An attacking forehand off a ball that has come high off your back glass, hit on its way down like an overhead from the back of the court.
When to play it
When a smash or a deep ball rebounds high off your back glass on the forehand side. When the net players expect a defensive lob.
How to play it
Turn early and move back with the ball as it comes off the glass. Let it drop to about shoulder height and strike it in front of you, flat or with slice. Aim low and deep, then move forward if it lands well.
Common mistakes
Hitting it too early, while it is still rising off the glass. Going for pace instead of a low, deep ball.

Legal under Rule 12: the ball has bounced on your side and come off your wall, so you may play it at any height before it bounces again.
