Flat lob
A lob with little spin, the simplest to play: a high, smooth swing that lifts the ball over the net players.
When to play it
When you are learning the lob. On a comfortable ball when the opponents are at the net.
How to play it
Open the face a little and swing up smoothly. Aim high, well above the reach of the net players. Move forward after a good lob to take the net.
Common mistakes
Hitting too low, so it can be smashed. Hitting too hard, so it goes over the back glass or lands out.

Is the flat lob legal in padel?
Legal under Rule 14b: the lob only has to clear the net and bounce in their court. If it reaches their back glass or fence before bouncing, you lose the point under Rule 13g.
