Backhand drop shot
A drop shot played on the backhand, usually with slice so the ball stops after the bounce.
When to play it
When both opponents are deep. Off a slow ball on your backhand side.
How to play it
Turn the shoulders and open the face. Cut gently under the ball. Aim just over the net.
Common mistakes
Floating it high. Showing it too early.
