Back-wall flick
An informal name for a short, quick forearm and wrist movement used to get a ball back when it comes off the back glass low, late or close to your body, with no room for a full swing.
When to play it
When the ball comes off the glass tight to your body. When you are late and only have time for a short movement.
How to play it
Keep the racket head up and close to the line of the ball. Use a short, fast flick of the forearm and wrist instead of a full swing. Aim high to the middle to give yourself time.
Common mistakes
Using it on balls you had time to play properly. Flicking with a closed face, so the ball goes into the net.

Questions
Is the back-wall flick legal in padel?
Legal under Rule 14 h, as long as it is one clean hit in a single movement and not a double hit, which would lose the point under Rule 13 i.
