Slice volley
A volley cut under the ball so it stays low after the bounce, making the opponents dig it up.
When to play it
On low balls below the net. To keep the opponents at the back.
How to play it
Open the face slightly and move it high to low through the ball. Keep the stroke short. Aim deep so the ball skids into the glass low.
Common mistakes
Chopping too steeply so the ball floats. Slicing so softly that it sits up.

Questions
Is the slice volley legal in padel?
Legal under Rule 14.1a once the ball has crossed the net. You lose the point if you play it on your opponents' side before it crosses (Rule 13.1f) or touch the net or posts with your body or racket (Rule 13.1a).
