Attacking lob

A lower, faster lob played to get over the net player before they can turn, usually from a comfortable position in the middle of the court.

When to play it

When the net players are crowding the net. From a ball you could have driven, as a surprise.

How to play it

Disguise it: prepare as for a drive. Lift it just over the stretched racket of the net player. Move up to the net straight after.

Common mistakes

Hitting it too low, so the net player smashes it. Hitting it too long, so it bounces off the glass and comes back.

Questions

Is the globo de ataque legal in padel?

Legal under Rule 14b: the lob only has to clear the net and bounce in their court. If it reaches their back glass or fence before bouncing, you lose the point under Rule 13g.
