Attacking first serve
A first serve with more pace or a tighter target, accepting a little more risk because you still have a second serve.
When to play it
On the first serve, especially at important points against a weak returner. When you have spotted a side the receiver dislikes.
How to play it
Pick the target before you bounce the ball: glass, body or T. Add a little pace and keep it low over the net. Close in quickly; a good first serve often brings a weak return.
Common mistakes
Going for so much that you double fault. Hitting an attacking serve and then staying back.

Questions
Is the attacking first serve legal in padel?
Legal under Rule 6. If it is a fault, Rule 6 gives you a second serve, and only two faults in a row lose the point (Rule 13.1q).
