Rally & Roam

Senior and veterans padel

Senior events group players by age. The FIP Senior World Cup now uses age groups from 40 and over to 60 and over, and the LTA's GB Seniors Padel Tour is open to players in their 40th year or older. The rules of play are exactly the same; age brings no extra bounce.

What changes from a standard match

Entry is limited by age. Match formats may be shortened, but only if the event says so.

The rules

The FIP rules of play apply in full. The FIP's senior categories for continental championships and the Senior World Cup are 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+ and 60+, updated for 2026. Before that update, the 2024 FIP Seniors World Padel Championships ran pair events from over 35 to over 55. The LTA's GB Seniors Padel Tour is open to players in their 40th year or older. LTA Seniors Tour draws use elimination with consolation or a compass draw, with scoring that depends on entry numbers. No age category brings a second bounce or any other change to the rules of play.

How to run it

Publish the categories and the date that decides each player's age. Choose a format that suits the draw size and court time. Build in warm-up and recovery time between matches.
