The net looks too high or too low
A padel net is 88 cm high in the middle and 92 cm at the ends, with only 5 mm of leeway either way. If it looks wrong, measure the centre and put it right before you start.
The right height
The net is 0.88 m high at the centre and rises to 0.92 m at each end, and those heights may be out by no more than 5 mm. It hangs from a cable fixed to posts no taller than 1.05 m, and it should fill the space down to the floor and out to the posts without being pulled tight.
How to check
Measure at the centre of the net from the court surface to the top of the band. A tape or a racket you have measured beforehand does the job. Then check near each post.
If it is wrong
Sort it out before the warm-up, and ask the club staff to adjust it if you cannot. The rules do not say what to do if you only notice in the middle of a match, so agree it with your opponents, or ask the umpire in a refereed match, and adjust it at a break.
