Why does checkout say test mode?

In short

When checkout shows Test mode, no real money moves. Payments run through a practice system, so you can try booking and buying without being charged.

Test cards

Use any future expiry date and any three digit CVC.

Any other number is refused with a message reminding you to use a test card. Your real card will not work in test mode, and that is on purpose.

Payments covered by a voucher

If a gift card or voucher covers the whole price, you do not need a card at all.

Payouts for coaches and clubs

Coaches and clubs connect a Stripe account to get paid. In test mode we set up a test payout account instead, and you will see a note saying that no real money will move.

When a payment fails

- Card declined or insufficient funds: try another card. - The card was not charged: nothing was taken. Try again or use another card.

Your court is held for 10 minutes while you pay, so you have time to retry. If you were charged but have no booking, open a ticket.
