Delete your account
Delete your account from Settings, Privacy and data. It is deleted 14 days later, and signing in before then keeps it. Bookings and payments are kept without your details.
In short
You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from Settings. We sign you out everywhere and delete it 14 days later, so you have time to change your mind. After that it cannot be undone.
Before you delete
- Download your data if you want a copy. See download or delete your data. - Cancel bookings you no longer want. See cancelling a booking. - Cancel a paid plan from Membership. If you pay through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it there too. - Spend your Rally points and credit. Points are set to zero and cannot be recovered. - Hand over trips. Trips you own are deleted, including for friends you invited.
Delete it
1. Open Settings and choose Privacy and data. 2. Under Delete account, choose Delete my account. 3. Enter your password and choose Delete my account in 14 days.
You are signed out everywhere straight away, including the app. Joined with Google or Apple and have no password? Set one first with Forgotten it? on the sign-in page.
The 14 days
- We email you to confirm, with the date the account will be deleted. - Two days before that date, we email you a reminder. - Changed your mind? Sign in, on the website or in the app, before that date. The account stays exactly as it was, and we email you to say so. - If you do nothing, the account is deleted on that date.
What we delete
When the 14 days end, we delete your profile, photo, date of birth, level history, reviews, favourites, messages, follows, blocks, game places, partner requests, trips you own, concierge chats, fare alerts, videos, points history, notifications, passkeys, connected Google or Apple accounts and signed-in apps. You are also removed from the newsletter.
What we keep
We keep records of bookings, payments and orders, because clubs and we need them for tax and accounting. Your name and contact details are removed from your account, and delivery addresses are removed from your orders. The privacy policy says how long these records are kept.
Developer and advertiser accounts
Developer and advertiser accounts are deleted from their Account page in the developer or advertiser centre, with the same 14 days to change your mind. Deleting one does not touch your player account, or the other way round.
Joining again
Your old email address is freed, so you can join again with it later. You start a new account from scratch.
