Spinning recovery
A description of a moment rather than a taught technique: a player spins right round to reach a ball that has got behind them, and plays it on the way through the turn.

It happens when a ball off the side glass or a mishit ends up behind you. Better positioning usually removes the need for it.
So spielst du ihn
Turn on the balls of your feet and keep your eyes on the ball. Play a high, safe ball as you come round. Finish the turn facing the net.

Spinning blind and losing the ball. Hitting the ball into yourself as you turn.
