Off the mesh
Playing a ball that has bounced and hit the side mesh. The mesh kills the pace and the ball drops short and unpredictably, so you must move in quickly.

When the other pair aim at your mesh, for example with a víbora to the fence. On balls that hit the frame and change direction.

Move towards the ball, not away from it: it will drop short. Keep your eyes on it until it comes off the mesh. Play a safe lob or a soft ball cross-court.
Typische Fehler
Waiting for a glass-like bounce that never comes. Getting too close and being hit by the ball.

Legal under Rule 12.3 and 12.4: after a bounce on your side the mesh and its frame count as part of the court, so the ball stays in play until its second bounce. Your reply must not touch your own mesh (Rule 13l).
