Deliberately playing slower or faster than the ball before, so the opponents lose their timing.

Use the same preparation, then change the speed of the racket. A soft ball after fast ones should also be low. A fast ball after slow ones should be aimed, not just hit hard.
Typische Fehler
Showing the change early with a different backswing. Slowing down so much that the ball sits up.
