Around-the-head smash
A smash reaching across over your head for a ball on your backhand side.

On a lob to your backhand side that you cannot get round.
So spielst du ihn
Lean back slightly and bring the racket over your head. Hit the ball above your opposite shoulder. Aim down the line or through the middle.
Typische Fehler
Using it when a backhand overhead or bandeja would be safer. Losing balance as you lean.

Legal under Rule 14b as long as the ball bounces in their court before it touches their glass or mesh (Rule 13g). Touching the net or posts with your racket or body during the point loses it (Rule 13a).
