Meeting players you have not played with before
Check their profile, keep chat in Rally & Roam messages, meet at the club and tell someone your plans. Block or report anyone who makes you uneasy.
Kurz gesagt
Most games with new people are just good padel. A few simple habits help you feel comfortable, especially away from home. These are general tips: there is no special safety feature to switch on.
Before the game
- Look at their profile. It shows their level, matches played, win rate and Turns up, their reliability score. A new profile with few matches is not a problem in itself, but it is worth knowing. - Keep the chat on Rally & Roam. Use Messages rather than giving out your phone number or social accounts straight away. If something goes wrong, you can report a message to us. - Stick to the plan. Be wary of anyone who pushes to move the game somewhere private, or asks for money outside a booking.
On the day
- Meet at the club. Choose games at a club, where you meet in a public place with staff around. - Tell someone your plans. Let a friend know where you are playing and when you expect to finish. - Make your own way there and back, especially the first time you meet. - Trust your instincts. You can leave at any time. A good partner will understand.
If you host
When you host a game, Who can see it lets you choose Everyone or Only people with the link. A link-only game is a good choice if you only want people you have invited. Women can also host women-only games.
If something feels wrong
- Block the person so they cannot message you or join your games. - Report them and choose Someone may be unsafe or at risk if that is how you feel. - If you are in danger, call the local emergency services first.
For coaching children, look for coaches marked Safeguarding checked to coach juniors. You can filter for them on Coaches.
