Using the bandeja to keep the net
Against a lob that is not quite good enough to smash, many coaches recommend the bandeja: a controlled sliced overhead, usually deep towards a corner, that lets you stay at the net.
Trin 1
A lob comes to you at the net, deep enough that you would have to run back to smash it.
Trin 2
You take a step back, sideways on, and play a bandeja deep towards their corner.
Trin 3
You move straight back up to the net while they deal with the ball off the glass.
