Fake smash into drop
You prepare exactly as for a full smash, the defenders run back to their glass, and at the last moment you soften the stroke into a drop shot just over the net.
Hvornår du spiller det
When the defenders retreat deep every time you shape to smash. On a short lob close to the net, where a drop has little distance to travel.
Sådan spiller du det
Take the racket back as for your real smash. At the last moment slow the racket and cut gently under the ball. Drop it close to the net and towards a side glass.
Typiske fejl
Changing the preparation, so the defenders stay at the net. Playing it so often that they stop running back. Dropping it too deep, which gives them a sitter.
