Join an open trip or list your spare places

If you are travelling alone, Open trips shows group trips with spare places. You ask to join and the organiser decides. If you own a trip with room to spare, you can list it there.

Ask to join a trip

1. Go to Open trips. Filter by destination if you like. 2. Each listing shows the dates, the places left, the level range and a note from the organiser. 3. Choose Ask to join, add a message under Say hello (optional), then Send request.

The organiser sees your profile and level with your message. You get a notification when they answer. If they accept, you join the trip as a viewer, so you can see the plan, vote in polls and comment.

Only trips that have not started and still have places are listed. A trip for women only, or for women and non-binary players, is shown only to the players it is for.

List your own trip

Only the trip owner can do this.

1. Open the trip in Trips and go to the People tab. 2. Under Spare places for solo players, set: - Spare places, from 1 to 12 - Level from and Level to, if you want a level range - Who can join: Everyone, Women only, or Women and non-binary players - A note for players (optional), for example what you have planned and what each person pays 3. Choose List my trip.

You can change the listing with Save listing or remove it with Stop listing. A trip that has already started cannot be listed.

Answering requests

Requests appear in the same section with the player's name, level and message. Choose Accept or Decline. Each accepted player takes one place. When every place is taken, the trip drops off the list. To take more people, add a spare place first.

Want to give someone more control? Once they are on the trip, you can change their role to editor.
