How court camera recordings work

At clubs with a court camera, your booking is recorded for you and appears privately in your Video lab soon after you finish.

Kort fortalt

Some clubs have a fixed camera on their courts. When you book one of those courts, your session is recorded for you and the video lands privately in your Video lab.

Which clubs have cameras

You find out when you book. If the court records bookings, checkout shows This court records bookings. Recording only happens where the club has connected a camera to that court and confirmed there is a recording sign at the court.

How it works

1. Book the court as usual. 2. Recording starts two minutes before your booking, so the warm up is caught too, and stops when it ends. 3. Soon after you finish, the video is added to your Video lab. 4. You get a notification: Your match recording is ready.

Every player on the booking sees the camera on their booking page. The booker's page shows Watch the recording once it is ready.

Who gets the recording

The recording goes to the player who made the booking. It is private to them. Other players on the court do not get a copy. It can only be shared more widely when every player on the booking agrees on their booking page. See sharing a recording.

Not recorded?

- You, or another player on the booking, chose Do not record this booking. - The camera was off or could not be reached. The booking page says if the recording could not be saved.
